Rick Petko is a motorcycle mechanic, best known for his appearance in the reality TV series “American Chopper” between 2006 and 2012. He was born on the 11th September 1968, in Bath County, Pennsylvania USA, where he apparently spent his childhood in front of the TV, watching films that included many chopper bikes, as our Rick couldn’t resist their raw power and beauty. As he got older, his love for motorcycles only increased, and so he is what he is now thanks to this early passion. He went to Northampton Area Senior High School, and after matriculating, pursued his love for building bikes and enrolled at NCACC to study welding.

His professional career began when he was rather young, working at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania in the racing school, and soon after joining the Hooters Pro Cup Team. Gradually his fabricating skills improved, and he found a higher paying job, at Orange County Choppers (OCC).
In 2003 he started appearing in the reality TV series “American Chopper: The Series”, and remained on the show until 2012.
