He was born in Knoxville, TN on Oc- tober 12,1993. Austin was a beautiful soul.
He never met a stranger and from meeting him notice his magnet- ic smile, quick wit and charm. Those fortunate enough to develop a deep connection with him experienced how easy he was to talk to and how easy he made you feel heard without judgement. His adventurous and child- like spirit made him such a fun dad and uncle. His daughter Kiya lit up his life and gave him so much purpose and joy. wild and capti- vating stories kept everyone laughing hysterically to the point of tears.
He is undoubtedly the best of us and sadly, he is gone far too soon. Steve was born on August 27, 1948, in Knox- ville, Tennessee, to the late Albert and Algadee Major.
He graduated from Fulton High School in Knoxville and East Tennessee State University. He went on to enjoy a successful career with Liberty Mutual Insurance and retired in 2007. He was a friend to all who knew him and never met a stranger. With his spirited personality and countless stories, Steve was the life of the party. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Tennessee Volunteers Steve was also heavily involved in the athletics community at Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia, where his sons at- tended high school.
Above all, Steve was a devoted husband, father, papaw, and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as much as possible. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Christopher Major, and his sister, Cynthia Major Woods. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Nancy Howell Major of Gainesville; sons Stephen (Laurie) Major, Jr. of Birmingham, Ala- bama, and Courtney (Lisa) Major of Cumming, Georgia; grandsons Jackson, Gavin, and Camden Major of Birmingham, and Aidan Major of Cum- ming; niece Megan (Alex) McGee of Knoxville, and nephews Trey (Kinsey) Howell of Knoxville and Brett (Olivia) Howell of Seattle, Washington; as well as great-nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

He was born on September 16, 1945 to the late Adrian and Irene Karnes. He worked at Chevrolet for many years before becoming the of Karnes Auto Body Shop. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Leon is preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Irene Karnes; mother and father-in-law, Bill and Jean Reed; daughter, Donna Karnes; and nephew, Jimmy Whitt. Survivors include his wife Linda Karnes, broth- ers, A.G. Willie retired after 31 years of employment and enjoyed the monthly Shoney meet ups with the OCAW crew. Willie enjoyed hunting, and trav- eling with his wife Lucy Robinson. Willie start- ed his own business after retirement-Robinsons Plumbing. The only black Plumbing business in Roane County, he loved helping the community.
